What is Bento3D?
Bento3D is a web tool that allows you to create 3D printable dividers and toolboxes with millimeter precision.
Creating Data
- Size
- You can adjust the size using the sliders on the bottom left and right.
- You can switch between only partitions and including cases using the switch at the bottom right.
- Grid
- You can add grids from the + button on the right and bottom.
- You can also specify the width for the horizontal grid.
- Vertical grids are divided equally according to the height.
- Download
- The parts that will be STL output are displayed.
3D Printing
- Printing with the bottom facing down will result in a cleaner finish.
- Only the lid.stl (data of the lid part) requires support. Tree support is recommended.
- It is easier to succeed if you put support on the purple part in the lower left figure.
- Specify support for the inside of the part where the latch is inserted on the front and the outside of the hinge on the back.
Assembly
- In addition to the 3D printed parts, hardware is used for the case assembly.
