What is BeautyShot?

BeautyShot turns one capture into a full set of pixel-perfect promotional screenshots — light and dark, every language you ship in, sized to spec, ready to upload.

Pick a window. Pick a desktop. Hit Take. BeautyShot resizes the source app, switches the system between light and dark, optionally relaunches the target through every locale you list, and saves a clean PNG per pass — at 2880×1800, 2560×1600, or any size you want. No more manual posing, manual screenshotting, manual color-correcting, manual exporting.

What's inside

• Single window or multi-window composite. Capture just one app for a tight hero shot, or stack multiple windows at their real screen positions for an "in context" shot. Drag to restack, toggle each in or out.

• Clean menu bar with your real menu titles. App name, real File / Edit / View titles read straight from the running app via Accessibility — and a tidy 9:41 AM clock, full battery, and stock icons stamped on the right. Tap the bar-background toggle to drop the fill entirely for marketing shots.

• Light + dark in one Take. BeautyShot brackets the system appearance so you get both variants from a single click, then restores your original setting.

• Every language in one run. Add the locales you ship in. BeautyShot relaunches the target through each one and saves a separate folder per language while you grab a coffee.

• Center and resize the source window. Half, three-quarters, or full at the press of a tile — every screenshot in your set lines up.

• Drop on any background. Pick your own desktop image (or a solid color) for each mode. Aspect-fills, never squashes. Bundled defaults for an instant good-looking starting point.

• Save and load presets. Bundle every look-affecting setting under a name and switch between configurations from the Preset menu. Source state stays per-session, so presets describe the look, not the shot.

• Post-capture review. After each Take, BeautyShot opens a window with a carousel of the captures. Untick the ones you don't want, hit Save to commit the rest. Discard cleans up without leaving stray files.

• Mission Control space aware. Capture from any desktop, even when BeautyShot itself is fullscreen on its own space.

• Accessory-app pickers. Menu-bar utilities — popovers, floating panels, preferences — show up in the Source picker and the Multi-Window composite list. The macOS chrome that runs at the same activation policy (Spotlight, Control Center, Notification Center) is filtered out so the lists stay clean.

Native, sandboxed, and tiny. Pure SwiftUI + AppKit + ScreenCaptureKit. No upload-to-cloud, no telemetry, no account required.
