Beat Watcher information
What is Beat Watcher?
Beat Watcher is designed to do one thing well: alert you when your heart rate goes above or below the BPM thresholds you set. Choose a high threshold, a low threshold, or both with the Digital Crown, and Beat Watcher taps your wrist and plays a sound the moment your heart rate crosses it.
Background Mode keeps monitoring even when your wrist is lowered or you switch to another app. An optional iPhone companion can forward alerts to your phone, including Critical Alerts that come through while your phone is silenced or in Focus. Beat Watcher also pairs with Bluetooth chest straps such as the Polar H10.
People use it for stress, workouts, sauna, sleep, and recovery, and many in the POTS, ME/CFS, and Long Covid communities use it for heart rate awareness and pacing. Beat Watcher is a general wellness app, not a medical device, and does not diagnose or treat any condition.
Free to download, with an optional subscription at $12 per year that includes a one month free trial.
