What is Beacon Safe?

Beacon Safe is a personal safety check-in app — a modern "dead man's switch" for people who live alone, solo travelers, night-shift workers, and seniors.

Set a check-in schedule (daily, every other day, or every 3 days). If you don't confirm in time, Beacon Safe automatically reaches your emergency contacts — email and SMS first, then an automated voice call if no one responds — escalating until someone acknowledges.

What makes it different:

  • Three real alert channels: email, SMS, and automated voice call (most apps do one).
  • Server-side triggering: the alert fires from our servers on schedule, so it still works if your phone is dead, off, or lost.
  • No location tracking, ever: Beacon Safe never requests location. It only acts when you don't check in. No GPS, no behavioral analytics, no ads, no data sale.

Free tier: 3 emergency contacts, email alerts, unlimited check-ins, contact response tracking. Plus ($7.99/month or $64.99/year): up to 10 contacts plus SMS and automated voice-call alerts, and faster escalation.
