Baluchon

Baluchon helps you manage expenses with friends or family during a trip (holidays, weekends away, trips with friends, etc.).

Key features:

• Create a trip and group participants by family (optional).
• Assign a weighting to each participant (standard share = 1, half-share for a child, for example), which can be adjusted individually for each expense.
• Record your expenses, dated and named, with one or more payers (total amount calculated automatically; simple calculations such as “12+8” are accepted).
• Specify exactly who is covered by each expense.
• View each person’s (or each family’s) balance, the total cost of the trip per person, and the minimum list of reimbursements to be made.
• Record an actual bank transfer between two people to settle the accounts.
• Manage multiple currencies with custom exchange rates per expense.
• Export the full statement as a PDF or JSON to share across devices and merge the expenses of several participants at the end of the trip.
• Import participants directly from your contacts.
• Duplicate a trip (participants and families only) for a recurring trip with the same group.

Baluchon is completely free, open source (GPL-3.0 licence or later), with no advertisements, no need to create an account, and works entirely offline: all your data remains on your phone.
