BaferCMS is a SaaS, which you use via web browser. The price is free, as far as I can see, and you don’t need to create an account. There is a registration button, but it does not work, oddly enough.
You type in any URL, no matter if the website is yours or not, and start editing. After you have finished, you can download the changed web page. If it is your own, you might upload your edited page via FTP to your web server.
Now, this seems a bit uncomfortable, compared to logging into a real CMS, editing your stuff and saving.
On the other hand, BaferCMS makes it possible to edit the CSS also. But if you have the knowledge to do so, you could edit your styles by using an HTML/CSS editor as well, like Bluefish or whatever, and would not need such a SaaS thing.
In short: I don’t know what the advantage of Bafer CMS should be for me personally.
