What is Autograph for Apple Mail?

Autograph is a native macOS app that designs your email signature and installs it into Apple Mail in one click.

Apple Mail's own signature editor is a text box. Getting a logo or a designed signature in means pasting HTML into a settings pane, and even then the images often reach the people you email as attachments or blue question marks, and the signature can vanish after a macOS update or an iCloud sync.

With Autograph you pick a template (they are arranged by profession: real estate, law and finance, consulting, sales, design and more), change any colour, font, size or spacing, and check how it looks on a phone. Then click Install. Autograph writes the signature into Apple Mail and assigns it to the right accounts. If macOS or iCloud later wipes it, Autograph puts it back.

Photos, logos and banners are hosted, so they render in Gmail and Outlook instead of arriving as attachments. A QR code sets up the same signature on your iPhone or iPad.

Free: installing into Apple Mail, account assignment, the automatic repair, iPhone setup and text templates, with no time limit and no card. Pro: photos, logos, banners, every template and full styling, for a one-time price with free updates. No subscription and no account.

Requires macOS 14 or later. Universal (Apple silicon and Intel), notarized by Apple.
