What is Audiout?
Audiout is a menu-bar mixer for Mac audio. Out of the box, only Apple's Music and TV apps can play to every room. Audiout does it for whatever your Mac is playing: Spotify, a browser, a game. It sends audio to AirPlay 2, AirPlay 1, Bluetooth, and Chromecast speakers at once, in sync, with a fader per room and a Main Audio fader over everything. Route each app to its own speaker at its own volume. Save speaker sets as scenes. Ten-band EQ per speaker. €30 one time, no subscription. Source is public on GitHub under GPL-2.0; the paid build is signed and notarized. Requires Apple Silicon and macOS 14.4 or later.
