AtlasVoice information
What is AtlasVoice?
AtlasVoice (listed on WordPress.org as Text To Speech TTS Accessibility) adds a "Listen" audio player to any WordPress post, page or WooCommerce product, so visitors can hear content instead of reading it.
The free version runs on the browser's built-in speech engine. It works immediately on activation with no account, no API key and no character limit, and includes read-along highlighting, listen-to-selection, a Gutenberg block, an [atlasvoice] shortcode, custom post type support, and pronunciation aliases for acronyms and abbreviations.
The Pro version replaces browser voices with AI narration and generates downloadable MP3 files. It connects four engines - AtlasVoice AI (no external API key required), Google Cloud Text-to-Speech, OpenAI and ElevenLabs - and adds bulk MP3 generation, visitor audio downloads, six player styles including a floating player, listening analytics, AudioObject schema markup, and support for WPML, Polylang, TranslatePress and GTranslate on multilingual sites.
Free version: 4,000+ active installs, rated 4.8/5 from 91 reviews on WordPress.org. Requires WordPress 5.6+ and PHP 7.4+.
