What is Aster Mail?
Aster is a privacy-focused, quantum-safe, end-to-end encrypted email service. Unlike other encrypted email providers, Aster uses standard OpenPGP (RSA-4096) with portable keys that work in GPG, Thunderbird, or any other PGP client.
Aster-to-Aster messages are protected with ML-KEM-768 post-quantum cryptography built into X3DH and Double Ratchet, this ensures that your private mail is secure against future quantum attacks. We also offer automatic public key discovery via WKD and key servers, meaning you can send encrypted mail to anybody without publishing a key, not just other Aster users.
Aster is built on a zero-access architecture with local client-side encryption.
