Ashampoo Music Studio information
What is Ashampoo Music Studio?
Ashampoo Music Studio 12 is the all-in-one solution for editing, organizing, and recording audio files. Eight powerful modules cover all essential music-related tasks—from ripping and burning CDs to cutting, converting, recording audio, and creating playlists and covers. Music can be converted into all common formats as well as normalized, analyzed, or edited. The graphical editing interface allows working on up to three tracks simultaneously. DJs and music enthusiasts will appreciate the integrated DJ mixer with tempo analysis and synchronization for smooth transitions.
The quick-ripping feature makes digitizing audio CDs fast and efficient, while online databases automatically provide track information. A flexible file-naming scheme ensures consistency and clarity across music libraries.
The built-in cover editor lets users design custom booklets and CD cases using templates or their own creativity. Version 12 includes major improvements across core areas. CD recognition has been enhanced to identify duplicate entries from online sources and consolidate them into a single metadata set.
CD-Text is also read directly from the disc. During recording, the software detects muted devices, automatically unmutes them, and restores their original settings afterward. Streams from platforms like Spotify are automatically detected and properly named, while unknown sources are analyzed via window titles. Silence detection enables automatic track splitting.
