ARIA Repository Intelligence

ARIA is an open-source repository intelligence platform designed to help developers understand unfamiliar codebases before making changes.

Instead of treating a repository as a collection of text files, ARIA builds a structural representation of the codebase. It analyzes source code to extract symbols and relationships, then combines this information with semantic retrieval and repository-aware AI.

ARIA provides dependency graphs, call graphs, symbol indexing, API surface analysis, architecture health information, change-impact analysis, dead-code detection, and repository-aware conversational querying.

The platform can help answer questions such as which files depend on a component, which functions call a particular symbol, how modules are connected, and what parts of a repository may be affected by a proposed change.

ARIA also supports Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration and can be self-hosted for developers who want to keep repository analysis under their own control.
