What is ApoKrino Forge?
ApoKrino Forge is a digital sketchbook and ideation system for artists, illustrators, and art students. It helps you gather visual research, develop ideas across many pages, and use AI-assisted pattern recognition to surface the marks, subjects, and questions your own work keeps returning to.
Forge is deliberately human-first: the AI analyses, it never authors. It generates no images, no artwork, and no finished work of any kind. Everything on the page is yours. The system works fully with AI switched off — pattern analysis is a checkpoint you choose to run, not a dependency.
Core features include a layered sketchbook editor, image capture and reference libraries, meme cards for organising visual research, mind maps, intention and reflection notes, a portable .skbk file format, and a read-only viewer for sharing work with teachers or peers.
Forge supports the ApoKrino method — a repeatable five-step ideation process (Scan, Generate, Transform, Narrow, Build) taught by artist and educator Trevett Allen. Free tier available with notebook and storage limits.
