Api2File information
What is Api2File?
Api2File offers a super simple way to consume data from an HTTP API. Exposed as files on a network share, API Data can be made accessible to any user on a network - all without sharing credentials or requiring any client applications.
All HTTP details are handled by Api2File, meaning accessing up to date API data really is as simple as opening a network share and clicking on a file. If the data returned from the API is in the wrong format for direct use (for example, to import into Excel), Api2File can automatically transform the data into other custom formats.
Api2File supports many HTTP API authentication methods such as Oauth, Basic & Bearer. It also handles transparently handles caching of data and error handling.
A network user requires no additional software on their device to download data from the APIs, and client authentication uses the existing network credentials to grant or deny access to the API data.
Api2File is very privacy focused and never phones home, does not require an internet connection to work and is completely safe to use on senstive networks.
