What is API Tester?
API Tester is the first mobile app to test any type of API on the go. Test REST, GraphQL, WebSocket, SOAP, JSON RPC, XML, HTTP, and HTTPS APIs completely for free, on iOS or Android.
The API Tester app has following features:
- Supports any HTTP requests: GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, DELETE, HEAD, OPTIONS, COPY, LINK, UNLINK, PURGE, LOCK, UNLOCK, PROPFIND, VIEW.
- Has a powerful GraphQL editor with full-scale experience: contains body editor with Queries, Mutations, Subscriptions, and syntax support.
- Requests or collections can be imported by cURL, link, or file from the device. Swagger, OpenAPI, Postman, and YAML collections are supported.
- Supports API calls with any kind of request data encoding and transfer type (query params, URLEncoded params, FormData, raw data).
- Some advanced settings include skipping TLS, disabling redirects, and adjusting timeouts. Weak SSL verification can be enabled and replaced with a self-signed certificate.
- There are additional features for the improved user experience: variables editor, documentation explorer, request settings, etc.
- Provides the option to send files from device storage, cloud, or remote server.
- Handles connection and message exchange via WS or WSS with WebSocket testing tool.
- There are some work optimizing features, like autocomplete for most common header keys, syntax highlighting, auto-formatting, etc.
- Collect, edit, and create cookies easily on the app.
- There is both the option to request metrics and measure request duration, response size, and status changes. -History of all request calls is saved on your device.
- Available for any iOS or Android device and optimized for viewing on any device screen.
- Shortcuts, Widgets, and the Apple Watch app are available for iOS.

I think API Tester is very convenient mobile app to test requests on the go when you are out of office or without your laptop.
I recently came across this app, API Tester, and I think it is perfect! With its setup, you can initiate any test suite anywhere and anytime. Not only this, if you want to modify anything like the endpoint, test data in the post-call body, etc., in your API calls, you can do so straight from the API Tester app without having to make a change. Great functionality for a free app! Helped me out a lot.
