    Answerbase Alternatives

Answerbase is described as 'looks to offer enterprise grade social Q&A to websites of every size, in a web platform that is easy to setup and manage' and is a Q&A Service in the Business & Commerce category. There are three alternatives to Answerbase, not only websites but also apps for Self-Hosted solutions, Django and Python. Most alternatives are Q&A Services and Customer Support Tools. The best alternative is OSQA, which is both free and Open Source. Other great sites and apps similar to Answerbase are Niko (Freemium) and AnswerCart (Paid).

OSQA is the free, open source Q&A system you've been waiting for. Your OSQA site is more than just an FAQ page, it is a full-featured Q&A community. Users earn points and badges for useful participation, and everyone in the community wins.

      Discontinued

The last commit to its open source code (https://github.com/dzone/osqa) is dated 2015. The official website URL (www.osqa.net) redirects to the proprietary product Answer-Hub (https://devada.com/answerhub/). www.osqa.net also happens to be in a blacklist used by the uMatrix browser extension.

    1. Niko makes it incredibly easy for employees at all levels to share what is on their mind by letting them submit, vote on, and respond to questions, ideas and suggestions. It creates a different employee engagement experience.

    2. AnswerCart help companies build modern, intuitive & elegant community forums on their website.
