Modern look, custom lists, and tracking for anime/manga/light novels/webcomics/manhua. Tons of options for custom searching using tags. Largest character database on the internet! Forum and Discord community for chatting/anime discussions. Also great they have official industry partnerships so you can read/watch a number of series legally.

With Anime Planet's modern look and easy accessibility, it easily becomes one of, if not the best website to track anime and manga. Being able to track each anime and manga episode by episode, as well as season by season has been a real help for me. The customizing that you can do on your profile is very nice to see too. I absolutely love how you can mark what characters, tags, studios, etc. you like and dislike. The community recommendations have allowed me to get into anime/manga I would never have heard of before. Being able to comment on anime, manga, characters, and being able to communicate in the forums is a fun way to get involved with the community. The community is nice and welcoming with a Discord server that is very helpful with meeting members of the community and getting involved with events.

I'm looking for an online app that lets me track not just watched shows, but also episodes watched per show etc. Similar to what Anime-planet does for anime. Which is perfect, by the way; hence my search for a similar but less specific tool.
