What is AndroZip?
AndroZip is a utility that can unpack/decompress ZIP and other ZIP based archives like APK, JAR, WAR, EAR, TAR, GZIP and RAR. AndroZip can also create ZIP and ZIP based archives like APK, JAR, WAR, EAR, TAR and GZIP. Note only Win.rar Gmbh software products like WinRaR can create RAR archives. AndroZip can also open encrypted ZIP files encrypted with WinZip (256-bit AES). Some of the future releases will include 128-bit AES encryption.
Androzip provides file manager functionality. Thus, it can copy, move, delete, rename files and folders, view their properties, as well as create new folder, attach selected file to an email, and open files.
Comments and Reviews
I like the idea, not really the execution.. The interface seems a little dated.. I would love to be able to handle compressed files and for example put AES encryption on selected synced files. It handles compressed files ok, but encryption does not work well between PC and my Android phone..
All-in-all still a "like" for being able to handle compressed files on my Android phone.
