Do not use Amuse for distributing your music. I had uploaded my music catalog, and a year later, someone submitted a fake copyright claim. Amuse then pulled my whole catalogue and even when the person admits to the copyright claim being fake, amuse do not reinstate my account. If you are a music artist, do not use them. They are free for a reason

Disclosure: I've added amuse here, but I'm not a fanboy or something. I've done it because I had very good experience with their free service - and that was something totally unusual then. What you say is actually intriguing, but still - It's always better to say "watch out" than "do not use this" - especially if it's about your single experience. Thank you for comment, though.

Thing I want to say on the topic is that there always should be contact with your DSP - but also that DSP is a fake service type which is just another way to steal money from artists. But that's only an opinion - and that's why it's good to know that there is a free option out there.

What is Amuse?

Amuse is a music distribution service with focus on independent artists; it helps them to put their music in main digital stores and streaming services. What makes it different from other DSP (Digital Service Providers) is that beside paid plans, it has one which is completely free (without any hidden fee from royalties etc). Amuse business model is also more artist-friendly; the company runs a music label and cooperates with artists "on the field". The service comes with apps for iOS, Android & also web app.
