What is Amp98?

Amp98 recreates the classic Winamp 2 player as a native macOS app. It loads any classic .wsz skin exactly as it was drawn, including skins with custom window shapes, and has a built-in browser for the 100,000+ skins in the Winamp Skin Museum. Modern .wal skins run in beta.

It plays MP3, AAC, FLAC, Ogg Vorbis, Opus, WAV and AIFF with a 10-band equalizer, playlists, double size and windowshade modes, and a spectrum analyzer. Universal app for Apple silicon and Intel, macOS 14 or later. Amp98 is independent and not affiliated with Winamp.
