While Alfa is now a PAID software it does have a 7-DAY FREE TRIAL. The paid version has 3 levels - one-time fee and it is well worth the cost. Price ranges from $19.95 - $59.95 and works on up to 5 computers and on Windows 10 (as of the writing of this review)!
It stores up-to 20,000 books with an easy-to-use interface. Honestly, the UI is just beautiful! Front & Back cover images for your books. Add a photo and about section to Authors, Series, & Publishers. Import your books from Calibre, XML, or CSV and export your books as well. Add multiple authors, genres & tags to any book. Use the search bar to search by title, author or ISBN. The side panel has filters for author, genre, tags, location, publisher, series, titles, ratings, published year, extensions, format, & language. You can begin your query for a book by using the search bar and refine your query with the side panel filters or vise versa. This provides you with multiple entry points to locating a single item in your library.
They also have an ebook reader, Alfa Reader. With PDF ebooks it simulates opening and page turning of a real book!!
I bought a license and have been testing this out for the last two days and I am in love and have already started putting my disorganized library in order. Thank you Alfa!
