AkrutoSync offers direct, two-way, cloud-free synchronization of contacts, calendar, tasks and notes between Outlook and all Android, Windows Phone, iPhone, iPad, iOS devices, phones and tablets. Access your Microsoft Outlook contacts, calendar, tasks and notes from your smartphone or other device, even when not connected to the network. You maintain control and privacy as your personal data is stored your own computer, not in the public cloud.
You'll never lose your data especially with sync history feature, which allows you to restore deleted or changed versions of your contacts and other items. Akruto syncs everything. Data is never cut off or missing. You also use your phone's own calendar and contacts apps, so all integrated features continue to work. For example, you can share a contact via SMS as you always have. Some sync software install their own calendar and contacts apps.

Although it is commercial... I was happy to use it: this was the only solution to sync contacts and calendars betwwen my PC and my windows phone. MS provided solution (thru outlook.com or Office 365) does not sync all the contacts info!!!
Without it my nice widows smartphone was just a decorative object...
Hello does this also work with gmail?
