What is AI Aware?
AI Aware is a deep tech AI detection platform built for organisations and individuals who need to know whether content is human or AI-generated. Unlike most AI detectors that focus solely on one modality, AI Aware covers all four major AI-generated content types (text, video, images and audio), making it one of the only truly multi-modal solutions available.
What it detects:
AI Text- Identifies content written by ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, LLaMA, and other large language models, with paragraph-level highlighting and calibrated confidence scores rather than a simple pass/fail verdict.
Deepfake Video- Analyses facial inconsistencies, unnatural blinking, lighting artefacts, and frame-level anomalies to detect AI-manipulated or AI-generated video from tools like Sora, HeyGen, Runway, and Synthesia.
AI Images- Examines pixel-level artefacts, texture repetition, and metadata signals to flag images generated by Midjourney, DALL·E, Stable Diffusion, Firefly, and similar tools.
AI Audio & Voice Cloning - Detects synthesised or cloned speech by analysing prosody, spectral characteristics, and background noise signatures, covering platforms like ElevenLabs.
What makes it different: AI Aware uses a proprietary ensemble detection architecture combining multiple models with different strengths rather than relying on a single algorithm. This makes it significantly more robust against "humanised" or post-processed AI content designed to fool simpler detectors. The platform also applies statistical fingerprinting to identify traces left by AI generators, even when content has been edited or paraphrased.
Who it's for: Education (academic integrity), legal (document and evidence verification), media and publishing (editorial fact-checking), HR and recruitment (application screening), financial services (fraud and synthetic identity detection), and cybersecurity (deepfake social engineering and phishing).
AI Aware is founded by the head of Computer Science from City St George's University of London. A free trial is available with no setup required.
