Agnes Video Generator is a free, open-source AI video creation tool. Unlike other services that charge monthly fees and limit features, this tool runs on free AI models from Agnes AI and Microsoft Edge TTS. It offers four creation modes: Simple Video, Creative Video, Manuscript Video, and Digital Anchor.

The Simple Video mode allows users to type a prompt and receive an AI-generated video in seconds, with full control over resolution, duration, and generation mode. Creative Video mode uses AI to generate a complete story, script, character references, and multi-scene video from a one-sentence idea. Manuscript Video mode can take a long article or script and intelligently split it into segments, generating matching AI video for each segment. Digital Anchor mode allows users to generate an AI avatar and produce a talking-head video with a script.

The tool is completely free, with no trials, credit card requirements, or token limits. It includes built-in TTS & subtitles, real-time WebSocket progress tracking, and doesn't require a GPU as all AI computation runs in the cloud. It supports seven languages and is AI agent friendly, with a complete deployment guide. The tool is also MIT licensed, allowing users to modify it and run it on their own server without vendor lock-in.

Agnes's video model is still in development and can sometimes produce unstable frames, but the project is being updated quickly. This tool is ideal for creators who can't afford commercial tools and believe AI should be a democratic capability, not a subscription service.
