What is Adolix PDF Redactor?

Adolix PDF Redactor is a Windows application that permanently removes sensitive content from PDF files. Unlike tools that simply draw a black box over text (which can often be uncovered), it structurally removes the selected text or areas from the PDF's content stream — the content is gone, not hidden.

Select text directly, just like in a PDF viewer, or draw a box over any region, including scanned pages and images. You can also select and redact all text on a page in one step, and select multiple areas across multiple pages in a single session. Metadata such as the author, creation date, and producer software can be stripped from the file at the same time.

All processing happens locally on your computer — files are never uploaded to any server, which makes it a safe choice for confidential documents used in legal, HR, medical, financial, real estate, insurance, and education workflows.

The free version lets you redact PDFs with up to 3 pages. Upgrade to the Pro version for a one-time payment of $24.95 to redact PDF files of any size, with no page restrictions and no subscription.
