ActionClip information
What is ActionClip?
ActionClip helps you act on selected text without interrupting your workflow. Highlight text in almost any Mac app, and a compact floating toolbar appears nearby with useful actions for copying, formatting, translating, searching, taking notes, converting currencies and units, creating events, improving writing with AI, and more. Its context-aware suggestions surface the most relevant action for what you select, whether it’s a link, address, date, command, foreign-language phrase, or long passage of text. You can also create reusable custom actions using AI prompts, URLs, JavaScript, shell commands, or AppleScript, either through a guided builder or by simply describing what you want. ActionClip is a native, local-first macOS menu-bar app designed for speed and privacy. It requires no account, includes no analytics or tracking, and keeps online features under your control.
