What is Accountable2You?
Accountable2You provides comprehensive monitoring on all your devices with reports and instant alerts sent to your chosen accountability partner(s). The app is designed to promote transparency and open communication for people wanting to maintain integrity and break bad habits.
Partners are sent a daily, weekly, or alerts-only email report. Reports are easy to read and comprehensive. The software shows all activity occurring during a selected time frame, including websites visited and app usage statistics.
Accountable2You monitors each device for all kinds of potentially harmful activity based on extensive research, and objectionable word lists can also be customized by the user.
10 day free trial, then $6.99 a month (for up to 6 devices) or upgrade to a family plan. Group and business plans are also available.

After evaluating a number of alternatives, I finally chose Accountable2You for my family. You can see the details of my decision-making process at https://www.edifyhub.com/blog/safe-internet-for-smartphones-and-computers-too/.
To get an idea of how Accountable2You works on Mac, Windows, iOS and Android, check out my free tutorials at https://www.edifyhub.com/accountability.
Disclosure: Edify Hub earns a commission when you sign up for Accountable2You or CovenantEyes using one of the links from any of those articles. (The commission for CovenantEyes is better, but I still recommend Accountable2You because I believe it's a better solution in most situations.)
My family has been using Accountable2You software since 2012. For years, it has unintrusively monitored what we do when we're on our computers, phones, and tablets and provided very clear, text-only reports of our usage. It dramatically reduces our temptation online to intentionally do things we shouldn't be doing, and has enabled us as parents to have some really beneficial conversations with our kids about their computer usage.
I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who wants to have a clean conscience when they turn off their computer but struggles to accomplish that, or to any parent who is concerned about what their kids may be doing with their devices.
It can be customized to your own needs as well. Whatever your kids may have a tendency to do online that you want to reign in, for example, you can add keywords to track those types of behaviors. Or whatever you yourself have issues with, whether it's online gambling, pornography, shopping too much... just enter keywords relating to the difficult area of your life and the software will monitor that more closely.
BE CAUTIOUS! app can be easily to worked around and if you have more then 6 devices then it is useless unless you pay ~$300AUD a year. If you have any issues and want to move to everaccountable they will keep you money and only offer a refund of $5.84 even if you were only with them for 1 month! If you email you get this response "We will not discuss this dispute further. You will receive no further responses from us pertaining to this topic." Worst service I have ever received!!
I am so thankful for this software! It monitors activity on all my family's devices without slowing them down, and keeps us all accountable for what we do online. As a husband and dad I wish I had installed this sooner. The reports are clean and simple but they allow you to dig deeper if you need to. Oh and I like the VPN feature for my iPhone and iPad that lets the app monitor all internet activity on those devices. Overall definitely recommended.
