A Novel Idea is a tool for plotting your story and recording bursts of inspiration. Use its simple interface to create your characters, locations, scenes, and novels and then link them together to create your story's plot. Use the Idea feature to quickly jot down your creative sparks and link them to your story elements. Arrange your scenes by dragging and dropping them into place. Add scene goals and objectives for each character.
The app is no longer updated. Last version, 1.15.2 was released in August 2014, and the website is unavailable.

I loved this app! I used it almost everyday for like 3 years! Then it was suddenly deleted I don’t even care about the app anymore i just want to be able to access everything I had on there and save it somewhere else more reliable. Please somebody help me?!
This was the best app for outlining. Easy to use, and just plain efficient. Was very sad when it suddenly just disappeared. Hope it comes back someday.
