1667 information
What is 1667?
1667 is a terminal application for writing fiction with language models. It runs full screen and works by keyboard.
A story is a tree. Every story part can hold several alternative takes. You keep the takes you do not use instead of overwriting them, then select one take per part to form the story line. You can read a story as a story line, as a tree, or as a mass map.
1667 has presets for Ollama, llama.cpp, KoboldCpp, and LM Studio, and it connects to OpenAI-compatible and Anthropic endpoints.
Facts hold background detail. Each Fact carries keys, a rank, and a budget, so a full context window drops low-value Facts first. A request viewer shows the exact request before it is sent.
1667 imports from SillyTavern and NovelAI. It reads character cards, World Info, and lorebooks, and it turns SillyTavern swipes into takes.
Stories stay in a local project folder and export as Markdown. There is no account and no cloud storage.
Apache 2.0. Installers for macOS, Linux, and Windows x64.
