What is 0 A.D.?
0 A.D. is a free, open-source, cross-platform real-time strategy (RTS) game of ancient warfare. In short, it is a historically-based war/economy game that allows players to relive or rewrite the history of Western civilizations, focusing on the years between 500 B.C. and 500 A.D. The project is highly ambitious, involving state-of-the-art 3D graphics, detailed artwork, sound, and a flexible and powerful custom-built game engine.
(Note: The game is still in an alpha stage and is nowhere near being fully complete yet, but please, try the game and help out the game's developers!)

0 A.D. has all the elements that made Age of Empires 2 unforgettable but it also adds its own brilliant touches while giving us that much-needed boost into the modern era with 3D graphics and controls that just work. Different from AoE 2, it loads blazing fast and everything about it is speedy.
I'm rating it 5 stars. While it may not be perfect especially since some elements are still incomplete, I've learned to stick to the completed civilizations, maps and other elements so for me, it's perfect.

The game has a fun gameplay but it lacks some features and has some performance issues.
Great Game with awesome Graphics. Just a FOSS Age of Empires, which is very good - and not too easy!
I always liked Age of Empires, when I migrated to Ubuntu I looked for a game of the same style and this one was a great discovery and honestly today I even prefer it
There is real like strategy Gameplay thought it is still not complete
