Meta introduces Muse Spark 1.3 for agentic and coding work

Meta is rolling out Muse Spark 1.3 in Muse Code and the Meta Model API, adding support for longer agentic workflows, multi-task handling, clarifying questions, and confirmations before consequential actions.

The company says the model improves coding usability and, in internal engineering comparisons with Muse Spark 1.2, used about 20% fewer tool calls and 25% fewer tokens.

It also adds stronger resistance to adversarial inputs and prompt injections, plus improved calibration around irreversible actions.

Existing reasoning modes are available now, while max reasoning is planned after further safety testing.
