LWN raises subscription prices by about 20% September 15

LWN will raise individual and group subscription prices by approximately 20% on September 15, 2026.

New monthly rates will be $6 for Starving hacker, $11 for Professional hacker, $19 for Project leader, and $55 for Maniacal supporter.

Prepaid subscriptions will remain valid through their original expiration dates, while monthly subscriptions active before the announcement will keep their old rate for six months.
