Tripsy 3.9 adds smart routes, multi-stop travel planning, saved addresses & timing alerts
Tripsy 3.9 is now available for Apple devices, adding Smart Routes to compare scheduled itinerary activities with estimated travel time. The feature also shows a Tight Timing warning when travel between activities could endanger the next plan.
Building on Smart Routes, the new Multi-Stop Route Builder lets users add and reorder places, select transport for each segment, and set a starting time. Tripsy calculates travel time and estimated arrival at each stop. Users can combine driving, train travel, and walking, preview the route on a map, then save it to a trip.
Alongside route planning, Saved Addresses stores regular locations for reuse. Routes have also been redesigned, so transportation details are easier to scan. In addition, the update adds separate Transfer and Subway activity types for trip segments that do not fit a generic transportation activity.
Beyond itinerary changes, notes receives a new editor with larger typography and revised reading and writing controls. Tripsy 3.9 also lets users set a desired arrival time and an arrival buffer before an activity, among other enhancements.
