MPS 2026.1 adds AI coding agent support and updates to IntelliJ 2026.1

MPS 2026.1 now ships with the Projectional Agent Toolkit, allowing AI coding agents to interact directly with MPS models through the Model Context Protocol.

The release also migrates the platform to IntelliJ 2026.1, JDK 25, and Kotlin 2.3, bringing updated runtimes and full support for KLib-based Kotlin stubs.

Additionally, Build Language scripts support transitive dependencies, reducing manual dependency handling for large projects.
