Fooyin 0.11 brings remote stream playback, internet radio, improved playlists, and more

Fooyin 0.11 has been released as the latest major version of this open source customizable desktop music player for Linux users. This release adds remote stream playback and internet radio browsing via the new Radio Browser plugin. Users can quickly access a built-in Radio layout or open the Radio Browser from the View menu, expanding available listening options.

Alongside these streaming enhancements, playlist management has seen significant upgrades. Users can now adjust widget margins and splitter spacing, apply per-playlist views, restore deleted playlists, and perform integrated playlist searches. Performance has also improved when working with large playlists, making library handling more efficient.

Following playback improvements, a new spectrum visualizer expands the visual options available while listening, and a new plugin allows users to inhibit system sleep during audio playback. These updates target both usability and aesthetics for music enthusiasts.

Building on user experience enhancements, the Quick Setup tool and system themes have both been updated. These changes aim to simplify initial configuration and broaden customization for new and existing users.
