Anthropic’s Project Glasswing finds over 10,000 critical software vulnerabilities

Anthropic’s Project Glasswing and its partners have used the Claude Mythos Preview model to discover more than 10,000 high- or critical-severity vulnerabilities in key software systems in the world within a month. The same AI scan identified over 6,200 serious flaws in more than 1,000 open-source projects.

Independent assessments confirm that the model greatly outpaces previous AI tools and human testers in both bug discovery and precision.

The main challenge now is the pace at which teams can assess and patch the volume of vulnerabilities identified.
