Zed Editor has introduced Agent Metrics, a public dashboard providing weekly insights into AI agent adoption and response times within the editor. Users can analyze session counts, turn volume, and detailed latency statistics, with model-level data available for Zed’s own agent. Notably, Claude Sonnet’s p90 latency increased by 44% over three weeks, and the Claude Agent shows deeper session engagement compared to Zed’s native agent.
