VS Code 1.118 adds remote Copilot CLI control and broader semantic code search

Visual Studio Code 1.118 introduces remote control for Copilot CLI sessions, enabling users to track and manage active sessions from GitHub.com or mobile devices. Semantic indexing and codebase search are now available in all workspaces, improving code discovery and Copilot's response accuracy regardless of repository origin. The Agents experience in VS Code Insiders is easier to access, now supporting state sharing and Claude agent integration, and can also be used via a web client.
