Shopify AI Toolkit launches for agent integration and store management

Shopify has released the Shopify AI Toolkit, enabling developers to integrate AI agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, VS Code, and Gemini CLI with the platform. The Toolkit allows building apps using Shopify documentation, API schemas, and code validation, and supports store management through CLI commands. Setup can be completed via a plugin or manually using skills or MCP.
