7-Zip 26.00 fixes TAR extraction bug and brings archive format improvements
7-Zip release 26.00 resolves an issue with extracting TAR archives containing sparse files. The release also introduces improved code for ZIP, CPIO, RAR, UFD, QCOW, and Compound formats. File Manager enhancements include updated sorting logic and benchmark support for systems with more than 64 CPU threads.
