Krea 3 brings LoRA tuning and 2K image edits in 8 seconds

The San Francisco-based startup behind the AI image and video generation platform Krea has launched Krea 3, its latest image editing model, capable of generating 2K edits in under eight seconds. It supports localized editing that preserves the rest of an image, while bounding boxes let users control where new elements appear. Each edit can use up to six reference images for styles, products, people, or other subjects.

Krea also says Krea 3 is the first image editing model that supports LoRA fine-tuning for specific products, people, or styles, helping maintain visual consistency across multiple images. The model generates images natively at up to 2K resolution, with support for up to 4K output. Use cases include product photography, generating different product colorways, localizing posters, creating campaign variations, and architectural visualizations.

Krea 3 is available on krea.ai, through the Krea API, and via platforms including fal, Together AI, OpenRouter, Replicate, Baseten, Hedra, and Nous Research. Pricing starts at $0.03 per 1K image and $0.06 per 2K image, with enterprise access available through Krea's partnerships team.
