DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash-1017 brings faster project building
DeepSeek has released DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash-1017 on its website, app, and API, describing stronger benchmark performance, faster task completion, and shorter outputs than its previous version.
The model uses reinforcement learning with self-feedback for end-to-end project development, including game creation and 3D modeling, and DeepSeek recommends Harness v0.2.1-rc.1 or later.
Search and Fetch APIs are also open to everyone at $0.75 per 1,000 calls per endpoint, while server-side calls through DeepSeek Harness, Claude Code, and Codex are currently free for DeepSeek API users.
