Meta is adding a new AI assistant and other AI-driven tools to its Facebook Dating service
Meta has announced that it will begin implementing new artificial intelligence tools for Facebook Dating, targeting users who experience "swipe fatigue" from manual match browsing. The most prominent addition is an AI-powered dating assistant, which can be used in the Matches tab. This chatbot enables users to search for specific types of matches by typing natural language prompts such as "find me a Brooklyn girl in tech." The assistant can also suggest profile improvements and provide dating ideas, and it is gradually rolling out in the United States and Canada.
Meta is also adding “Meet Cute,” an opt-in feature that automatically pairs users with someone once a week through a personalized algorithm. Users can opt out at any time, and Meta plans to test different matching frequencies in future updates, though it has not explained how compatibility is determined.
With these updates, Facebook Dating becomes the latest dating service to add new automated tools, following Tinder with its AI photo selector or Bumble with its own AI-based profile features.

Never thought "Facebook Dating" was a thing. And I don't ever want to know what people can search for, but certainly not a "girl in tech". But the future will be bright: "So, how did you both met? - Well, we don't really know, the AI decided for us."
The AI still doesn't push you to go to a date though.
