German email provider mailbox.org unveils complete rebranding with improved software suite
Secure German email provider mailbox.org has officially rebranded as mailbox, introducing a new name and modernized brand identity. Along with this strategic change, every component of the service has been rebuilt from the ground up to form an integrated platform for digital communication and productivity. With the completion of an intensive beta period, the new mailbox Suite is available to all users. This update brings together email, calendar, contacts, office, video conferencing, and cloud drive in a redesigned, cohesive interface.
Following these structural changes, the overhauled suite delivers productivity upgrades, including smart keyboard shortcuts, an improved dark mode, customizable backgrounds, and simplified navigation. These features are designed to streamline daily workflows and personal workspace preferences. Additionally, mailbox now offers a browser-based Progressive Web App (PWA). It enables mobile email management directly from a smartphone or tablet browser, removing the need to install additional applications.
With this update, users gain several new features: an undo send option for emails, expanded organization and customization features, and an enhanced calendar with direct integration to mailbox Meet for video calls. mailbox’s transformation aligns with the company’s broader strategy — centered on security, data protection, and independence — and underscores European digital sovereignty as a key competitive edge.

Good. I just started using it last week as a backup mail, besides Proton. I hope this rebranding will make this service more accessible to a greater customer base.
Great provider. Been using their services since the NSA leaks.
