Android launcher Lawnchair 15 beta adds drawer folders, dock upgrades, and expanded search
Lawnchair 15 beta, the latest version of this open-source Android app launcher, was released a couple of months ago, aligning fully with Android 15. This update is particularly suited for users of the discontinued Nova Launcher, making Lawnchair a good and timely alternative for users seeking a new home screen experience.
This first beta introduces two long-requested ways to organize your apps within the app drawer. Manual folders let users create, name, and reorder groups of apps, while Caddy, an experimental feature, automatically categorizes apps into folders for you.
Building on Android 15 compatibility, Lawnchair 15 is now based on Launcher3 from Android 15, resulting in better stability and unlocking platform features like Private Space and App Archiving. The dock section gains several upgrades: users can adjust its background color and corner radius, place widgets alongside app icons, and display icon labels for docked apps.
Following these improvements, the search function becomes more customizable. Lawnchair’s app drawer now supports custom web search engines and adds options like Ecosia, Kagi, and Firefox among its integrated providers. These enhancements aim to make everyday navigation and searching more adaptable for Android power users.

There is already a post about this update : Lawnchair 15 Beta 1 adds App Drawer Folders and Android 15 support
Yes, but it's particularly interesting now that Nova Launcher has been discontinued. But yes, the article is not clear enough, I'll update it, thanks.
Im using the beta since 2 months (The news post says that it was released this week, but it was two months ago.) and it works great, besides the search that is very slow on my device
