Tripsy 3.5 adds per-guest controls, activity assignments, and Favorite Guests

The popular (and beatiful) trip planning app Tripsy has launched its latest major update, version 3.5, centered mostly on new features and improvements to its collaborative trip planning tools. Users can now assign roles to guests as either Collaborator, who can edit itineraries and manage activities, or View-only, who follows without editing but may still access selected documents or expenses. Activities can also be assigned to specific guests, helping organize individual arrangements like separate flights, making planning more efficient for groups, families, and tour operators.

There's a new Favorite Guests feature that lets frequent travel companions be added to trips instantly without invitations, with automatic notifications so they can join planning right away. Guests are also notified of itinerary changes, keeping everyone aligned and avoiding duplicates.

Additional updates include a Friends’ Trips section for filtering shared trips by friend and copying activities from their itineraries, social media sharing with themed card styles, a redesigned calendar picker with quick date suggestions, hotel checkout indicators, city display for activities, and completion tracking. Travel stats now break down countries by continent and season, and Apple Intelligence integration enables travel document indexing in Spotlight with App Intents support.
