DuckDuckGo unveils web browser redesign with rounder interface, redesigned icons, and more
DuckDuckGo has released a refreshed user interface for its web browser, bringing a new visual style and improved usability. Users will find redesigned icons, a softer and rounder interface, and an updated color palette. Moving between desktop and mobile is now smoother due to these unified design updates.
Alongside the visual changes, DuckDuckGo has made privacy protections more transparent. New interactive elements show how the browser is guarding user privacy, while a green duck-foot shield in the address bar gives real-time information about tracking protections. For quick privacy management, the redesigned fire button allows users to clear browsing data in a single click.
Following these interface enhancements, the browser introduces a Duck.ai button in the URL bar, letting users access anonymized AI chat features on both desktop and mobile. For greater control, users can disable AI chat and hide related buttons through the settings menu.
