BookStack v25.07 introduces plaintext markdown mode, WYSIWYG expansion, and API ZIP export

BookStack v25.07 has been launched bringing improvements in editing, customization, and performance. The Markdown editor now includes a plaintext mode to address compatibility issues with browser spell-check and extensions, while still supporting CodeMirror features like shortcuts, drag and drop, and scroll syncing.

The WYSIWYG editor now fully replaces TinyMCE in descriptions and comments, keeping previous functionality but with a lighter footprint. It also adds a toolbar for media, better handling of complex blocks, editable embed code, and improved resizing for tables and images.

Other updates include new REST API endpoints for ZIP import/export of books, chapters, and pages, expanded tag-based customizations using parent tag classes, improved sidebar spacing with fade indicators, a multiline changelog input with character counter, better handling of permission changes through transactions, and the addition of Nepali as a supported language.
