WhatsApp Status adds photo collages, music, interactive stickers, and more

WhatsApp is expanding its Status feature with four updates. The new Layout tool lets users create collages with up to six photos, offering options for arrangement and editing to share multiple moments in one post.

More with Music lets users add music or a music sticker to Status updates, enabling personalized audio backgrounds. The Photo Stickers option allows turning photos into resizable, reshaped stickers that can be added directly to a Status. In terms of interaction, the new Add Yours sticker introduces prompts, encouraging friends to share their own Status responses on a shared topic. This feature is designed to promote community contribution and conversational sharing.

The updates are rolling out globally and expected to reach all users in the coming months. WhatsApp also confirmed that more Status enhancements are planned in future updates.
