Adobe Photoshop is now available in beta on Android, and it's free for now

Three months after debuting Photoshop on iPhone and iPad, Adobe has released a beta version of Photoshop for Android devices. Android users running version 11 or later can now download the app from the Google Play Store, significantly broadening mobile access to Adobe’s image editing platform.

The Android beta brings over Photoshop’s signature image editing and design features. Users can work with multiple layers, apply masking techniques, and try out Generative Fill, which is powered by Adobe Firefly's artificial intelligence. These core tools aim to deliver a familiar Photoshop workflow for those working on smartphones or tablets.

During the public beta, all Photoshop mobile features on Android are available at no cost. Adobe plans to introduce more capabilities with future updates, encouraging early adopters to explore current functions and provide feedback. While the app's interface is designed for intuitive, on-the-go creative tasks, further enhancements are expected as the beta program continues.
